Harris Tweed is a truely Scottish tweed that can be a tartan style check, plain, herringbone or houndstooth plaid. Handwoven by craftsmen and then hand dyed using trusted traditional techniques, the Tweeds form magnificent colours and hues true to these remarkable Scottish Islands which just have to be visited to fully appreciate the amazing beaches, landscapes and seascapes on the western edge of Scotland.

This soft but so durable cloth is so warm and comforting to the touch it makes an ideal finish to our range of gifts and accessories. Similar to the better known tartan weaves it  is however completely unique to the Outer Hebrides. This area of Scotland is a Gaelic speaking land and Scotland`s home to the true trusted methods of weaving. Inspirational patterns and colours that reflect this iconic landscape.
