How to clean tweed

The virgin wool used for Harris Tweed naturally repels stains, odours and creases.

However, if you do end up with a stain on your Harris Tweed, avoid harsh chemicals and cleaners – and don’t rub too hard.

Using soapy water, use a sponge or cloth to very gently rub the stain. Let the item dry flat, away from direct sunlight.
